The room at Partridge Holme was cozy and inviting, with a lovely bathroom featuring both a bath and a shower. As someone who enjoys a relaxing soak, it was the perfect setup for me.
Personally, I would have preferred if there were more bathrooms with showers available.

We loved the location of this cottage - so close to the lake and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and bars. The facilities were exceptional, with a well-equipped kitchen including a washing machine, dishwasher, and microwave. The seating was comfortable and there was plenty of it. The parking permit provided was very convenient for nearby car parks and even allowed us to use it in other areas too. The area was quiet and the cottage itself was clean and cozy.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

the traditional stone cottage was beautifully converted and decorated. It had everything I needed for a self-catering stay, including all the necessary amenities. Despite being near the center of Bowness, it was surprisingly peaceful. the provided parking permit was extremely helpful, allowing me to park in nearby car parks. Boat trips on the lake and visits to attractions like Beatrix Potter's Hill Top Farmhouse were easily accessible. the nearby town of Windermere and Ambleside were also worth exploring.

Stayed at a 4-star property with free WiFi. Shared it with some interesting strangers. Had a dining area, kitchen, and seating area to enjoy. Surfed the web with delight.
Breathed in some charming smells that left me feeling refreshed.

Great location, close to the lake and all amenities. The cottage had all the necessary appliances, including a washing machine and dishwasher. Plus, the parking permit provided was a big help!
The second bedroom is really small and not suitable for adults. The cottage could use some updating, and the shower was not the best.

The room at Partridge Holme was absolutely lovely. It had a bathroom with a bath or shower, which was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day at the beach. As someone who loves to be close to the water, this cozy room made me feel right at home.
Personally, I found the bathroom with just a shower a bit disappointing. But hey, that's just me!

Great location! Everything within walking distance - pub, shops, restaurants, and the lake. the amenities provided were exceptional - washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, full oven and hob, fridge & freezer. the round dining table and comfortable seating were a bonus. Convenient parking option with the provided business parking permit. the quiet area added to the pleasant stay.
The second bedroom was too small to comfortably accommodate two adults. the mattresses in the single beds were too hard and lacked mattress toppers.
